wajid Hussain Shah is a journalist based in Islamabad, Pakistan.I am a passionate and experienced Videographer & Video Editor with nearly two decades of experience working in the news and media industry. From 2006 to 2025, I served as a Cameraman and Video Editor at Voice of America (VOA), where I covered high-impact stories including political developments, natural disasters, military operations, and cultural features across Pakistan and the region. My work has taken me to the Line of Control, FATA, Swat, earthquake zones in Kashmir, and numerous conflict-hit areas where I documented real stories from the ground. I’ve filmed interviews with senior political figures, including for programs like "Live with Talat Hussain", and captured visuals that were broadcast globally. I also have strong expertise in professional lighting setups, field production, and ENG camera operations. Since 2020, I’ve been working as a freelance videographer, delivering video content for Al Jazeera, Aaj TV, and various NGOs, brands, and media houses. My freelance portfolio includes news packages, human-interest documentaries, social media videos, and corporate/product visuals. I am proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and operate cameras like NXCAM HD and DSR series.
