Verghese Joseph is a journalist based in Bengaluru, India. He comes with nearly 30 years business communications, journalism, editing and PR experience. He's the founder editor of Space Newscast (www.spacenewscast.com) which focuses on burgeoning global Space technology industry. Additionally, he runs a media consultancy firm called Media Kindle – that offers Editorial, Communications, PR and Marcom services. Verghese also helms three Singapore-based news platform - AsiaBizToday which covers corporate business (www.asiabiztoday.com) and Collective for Equality (www.collectivefor equality.com) which is targeted at women CXOs, as Managing Editor, besides overseeing a climate change news platform CarbonWire (www.carbonwire.org). In his previous roles, he has been a part of some large editorial teams in various capacities such as Deputy Editor at The Times of India - Ahmedabad, Editorial Operations Head at The Economic Times and The Financial Express and Editor-Manager at IBM Redbook (the only offshore division outside of US that publishes - Redbooks – more known as the technologists’ 'Bible'). He also headed a 65-year-old Industrial Economist (www.industrialeconomist.com/), a reputed fortnightly business and economic magazine as its Executive Editor in Chennai. The last professional role he held was that of United Business Media (now Informa Markets), a London Stock Exchange-listed company, as a Director-Editorial and helmed four digital publications in the Cyber Security and Commercial Security and Banking Security space. At UBM, he was the Conference Chair for technology summits in India and outside.
