On May 10, 2015, Pullitzer Prize winning journalist Seymore Hersh published the article "The Killing of Osama bin Laden" in the London Review of Books. The piece directly challenged the U.S. governments version of events that lead to the death of Osama Bin Laden. The White House immediately responded by criticizing Hersh's lack of revealed sources. This was an interview I produced with Hersh that same day.
in December 2013, Al Jazeera journalist Mohamad Fahmy was arrested with two colleagues by Egyptian authorities. I produced an interview with Fahmy for CBC News while he was out on bail awaiting a new trial.
The Investigator's was a prime time nationally broadcast CBC program that explored the process of how journalism is produced. I worked as a producer with the program for a season.
