Rodrigo Carrizo Couto is a Swiss-based international journalist and communications expert with a unique career at the intersection of media, culture, and diplomacy. A registered professional journalist (RP|BR No. 71.958) and member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), Rodrigo brings over three decades of experience in editorial content, political and crisis communication, nation branding, and global media relations.

His journey began in Moscow during the collapse of the USSR — a rare front-row seat to history that shaped his global perspective. Since then, Rodrigo has reported from New York, Paris, London, Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi, Buenos Aires, Jerusalem, and Prague. His bylines appear in major outlets across Europe and the Americas, including long-term contributions to El País (Spain) and SRG SSR (Switzerland’s public broadcaster). 

Rodrigo has conducted in-depth, exclusive, interviews with world figures such as Kofi Annan, Susan Sarandon, Quincy Jones, Martha Argerich, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Paco de Lucía, and Nobel laureates, as well as heads of state, scientists and innovators. His sharp editorial sense and ability to connect with global thought leaders define his storytelling.

In 2018, Rodrigo founded RCC Projects, a creative agency dedicated to developing bold and intelligent communications strategies for international institutions, leading artists, and high-level cultural initiatives. To date, RCC Projects has delivered over 140 video and documentary productions for more than 60 clients, and has built a reputation for cinematic storytelling and strategic insight.

His photography has been published in 20 countries and is represented by Bridgeman Images (London). In parallel, he collaborates with prestigious partners including Art Basel, the Verbier Festival, Fondation Beyeler, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, FHNW, and national opera houses.
