As a host and producer at Oromia11 TV, he creates compelling, multilingual stories that inform, inspire, and empower audiences across platforms including television, YouTube, and social media. Fluent in Afaan Oromoo, Amharic, and English, Rabira focuses on human-centered storytelling—covering topics such as migration, identity, health, and social change. His journalism often highlights the experiences and resilience of immigrant and refugee communities in Minnesota and beyond. Before joining Oromia11, Rabira worked with Nuur Al Hudaa Media and Risala International Media, producing radio and TV programs, developing public speeches, and translating stories across languages and cultures. With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Adama University, he brings analytical insight and social awareness to every report. Outside the newsroom, Rabira is a published author and poet, with two books exploring life, culture, and human connection.
