My first visit to Makoko to cover the demolition of the waterfront community by the Lagos State government. A few reporters and I on the scene interviewed the traditional chief of the community. My follow-up reports on this story include getting some of the affected locals on radio for interviews and more social media video reportage, which includes my interview with a couple who lost a 5-days-old baby to the uninformed visit of government officials with an excavator to demolition houses in Makoko community.

This is a follow-up report of the Great Nigerian House fire outbreak. I visited Mr Lookman Abogun, popularly known as Bachman, a survivor of the fire who was trapped under a collapsed building behind the Great Nigerian House for 14 hours but thankfully, he made it out alive.
