I am an Egyptian video journalist with a Masters degree in TV and Digital Journalism from the American University in Cairo. I began my career in 2009, as documentaries and features producer for Al Jazeera Documentary channel. Since the errpuption of the 25th of January revolution in 2011, I have been working as a one-man crew video journalist , covering current affairs in Egypt. In 2011 , I worked as a reporter for Dream satellite channel, when I covered Tahrir square demonstrations , Mubarak trial , Maspero Massacre and provided live coverage for different political incidents.I have also been working as a permanent freelancer for Al Arabiya news channel . For over 4 years , I have worked at Al Arabiya Cairo bureau on coverages of all parliamentary , presidential elections and constitutional referendums from 2010 until present. Besides , I have been an assistant producer for various live political shows and documentaries for Al Arabiya channel . I am trained to shoot, edit and write scripts both in English and Arabic to create news packages and features.
