Nelly Moraa Nyangorora

Nelly Moraa Nyangorora is an Independent journalist/Editor with 29 years cumulative experience in media, government relations and mentorship. She holds a Bachelors of Science in communication and public relations, a diploma in journalism, and a post graduate certificate in reporting climate change from Uninettuno University. She has contributed to several research projects including the Association of Women in Media In Kenya profile series on women leadership in Kenya. International Association of Women in Radio and TV IAWRT's study on women journalists and technology in Kenya and currently finalising a study on Community Centred Connectivity Initiatives  for APC in partnership with IAWRT. She began her career in radio as a continuity announcer, followed by roles as news reporter, news anchor and parliamentary editor. Later served as a liaison for intergovernmental relations. She has been a stringer with Voice of America where she was panelist on various current affairs shows on Africa. She is agile, adapatable, professional and reliable and on call always for any assignment ranging from opinion pieces, current affairs, features , climate and health.
