I am Miléquêm Diarassouba, an African photographer, photojournalist, filmmaker, and visual storyteller based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. For more than ten years, I have documented stories across West Africa, focusing on health, education, development, resilience, and social change. My work has taken me from Côte d’Ivoire to Benin, Togo, Senegal, and beyond, collaborating with international organizations including UNICEF, UNFPA, Gavi, USAID, IFAD, MiracleFeet, and Aid by Trade Foundation. Through photography, documentary filmmaking, and visual storytelling, I help transform complex human realities into stories that inform, engage, and inspire action. My work has been featured by El País, Forbes, UNICEF Headquarters, and international institutions, and I was recognized as Documentary Photographer of the Year in Côte d’Ivoire in 2023.
