About Miia

I’m a multilingual radio and audio producer based in Helsinki and have made content for YLE and Radio Helsinki in Finland as well as Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandfunk Kultur in Germany, among others. I studied Political Science in Berlin and Ethnomusicology in the UK and have managed the student radio station SOAS Radio in London before moving to Finland in 2018 where I've been working as a freelancer. My interests lie mainly in music, politics, culture, languages and the climate.
