Liutauras Strimaitis

Liutauras Strimaitis is a journalist based in Vilnius, Vilnius County, Lithuania. 
 I have an extensive working experience and knowledge in broadcasting of all kinds of news, such as international, local, entertainment, sports, cultural, political, business, etc. I am also skilled in the following areas:

Producing live and pre-recorded TV news and current affairs programmes and features.
Producing from outside broadcast locations. Sourcing material for future programming, booking satellites feeds.
Researching for live and pre-recorded TV news and current affairs programmes for news bulletins.
Organizing both national and international broadcast and feed, including the provision of necessary facilities and staff.
Assisting senior producers and heads of production in many projects.
Preparing various reports, including those related to project accounting.
Arranging production schedules, including camera crew timetables.
Managing entire production of various projects.
Directing field shoots, working as a cameraman and video journalist.
Furthermore, I would like to mention some of key technical skills that I possess, which are as follows:

Operation of ENG equipment, both SD and HD cameras, sound, lightning. DSNG, BGAN, Live U and latest generation satellite and standard IP connection.

As regards my personality, I am the one who has always been ready to travel on short notice wherever required. I have always considered my profession as a journalist being among those where putting professional interests above personal come by default. Also, I possess excellent language skills in English and Russian, whereas Lithuanian is my mother-tongue.

My extensive experience of working in various military conflict areas as well as my ability to quickly adjust and manage tasks safely and efficiently in different hostile environments and good international and cross-cultural communication skills should be considered as advantage.
