Portfolio
I directed two documentaries and 30 profiles for the project. Using my contacts and fixers, I identified victims of past terrorist bombings in Kampala. With interpreters, I interviewed them to gather their testimonies. I scripted a documentary to highlight the impact of terrorism and raise community awareness about the dangers of violent extremism. I also used voice-overs to translate local languages and encourage action to support the rights of terrorism victims.
I created a story pitch for the EASY project documentary, making sure it matched the project goals. I reviewed previous findings and documents and identified key stakeholders and filming locations. During fieldwork, I directed the camera crew and staged scenes creatively to showcase impact. I used Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator to produce and create graphics for the video.
