Yasheera Rampersadh, a former journalist and Newcastle native, has launched her new book 'Get Out Of Your Own Way' in Johannesburg. The book, which focuses on the power of positive thinking and self-belief in shaping one's life, is a result of Yasheera's experiences in journalism and spirituality. She studied Journalism at the Durban Institute of Technology and worked at various news organizations, including OFM, SAPA, and eNCA. Yasheera self-published her book, initially releasing it on Kindle and later working with a Cape Town printing press for physical copies. She plans to make this book part of a series and aims to distribute it widely, with the launch hosted by Skoobs Theatre of Books at Monte Casino. The book is intended for a broad audience, especially those starting their lives or seeking to live more positively.
