Currently - News Anchor at ERT NEWS (Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation) Former News Anchor at MEGA TV (www.megatv.com) and editor/host of the first English-language daily news report on ONE TV. (www.onetv.com) Yanni Moutsios is an experienced media practitioner based in Athens, Greece with an extensive track record on broadcast media, radio and print. He worked as the evening News anchor at ONE TV and foreign Affairs editor for MEGA TV. Yanni was employed by the British Police as a Media Producer in 2001, in Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, providing media training to police officers, conceptualizing and producing video packages, editing and presenting news stories for police and public use, as well as editing and designing Web projects. Since 2003 he has returned to Greece for national service, and he is based in Athens ever since, working for broadcast media. In 2004 he has been employed in Alter TV - a national, privately owned TV station based in Athens-, as a broadcast journalist and co-host for an investigative program (Gates to Inexplicable) and the current affairs talk show (Invisible World). Yanni Moutsios has covered the US Presidential elections in 2021 for MEGA as the main correspondent in Washington DC. He has print experience as he has worked for multiple magazines and newspapers such as the Hellenic Nexus, Gentleman, TA NEA and TO VIMA. In 2011 he produced hosted and edited an investigative news documentary on the use of social media in in social uprising on the occasion of the shooting of a 16-year-old boy -Alexandros Grigoropoulos - by a police officer causing a two-month uprising in Greece. Yanni has field reporting experience as well as extensive experience in presenting on camera both in the studio and on the field. He was the editor-in-chief and news anchor of the weekly news report for the New York based TV station, New Greek TV. Yanni specializes in high profile interviews with international personalities.
