About Sri
Sri Loganathan is a freelance photographer based in Chennai, South India. His interest in Photojournalism began at the very young age of 14. The photographs in newspapers were the main source of inspiration and he attempted to learn about the various challenges and opportunities in photojournalism.

The knowledge and skills he acquired in photography through his Bachelor's degree benefitted as he joined as an Intern with Citizen Matters as a Photo/Video Journalist during his semester holidays. His personal interest in the field extends the scope of his work. He captures various events in and around his locale.

His works have been published in The Hindu Tamil newspaper, Dinakaran, and other websites. He is also a founding member of Photo Meet Chennai, a Tamil Nadu-based photo community that conducts photo walks and various photography-related activities in Tamilnadu. His works are recognized and have been exhibited at various events. He has also experienced a new domain when he worked with Chennai Photo Biennale, as a photo mentor and he taught the basics of photography to a bunch of school kids.

His first full-time on-field experience in photojournalism was working with Citizen Matters. He was greatly influenced and developed further interest in the field. His most recent works are published in The New Indian Express where he joined as an intern. He developed distinctive skills in particular depicting the essence of the circumstances through his work.

In a juried exhibition conducted by The North Dakota State University's Memorial Union Gallery in Fargo, North Dakota (USA), three of his photographs were selected and exhibited on the themes of protest and discord. His work was based on the CAA protests in 2020 in Chennai, India.

Sri Loganathan involves himself to find distinctive frames which speak for themselves. He is currently working on his personal projects.
