Similar protests against the Islamic Republic took place in Strasbourg, the seat of the European Union, where Iranians from various European cities gathered to once again urge European institutions to list the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.
Iranians in France welcome Nowruz 1402 with the anthem 'Woman, Life, Freedom' and march in Paris
Iranians in France marked the approach of Nowruz 1402 by creating a symbolic and protest-oriented Haft-Seen, including names representing various grievances against the Iranian government. They marched from Pour Royal to the Pantheon in central Paris, chanting slogans in Persian and French, calling for France to sever ties with Iran and to designate the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist group. Samia Badat Karam, a member of the Paris City Council, expressed her longstanding support for the Iranian people and condemned the Iranian government's actions against its youth. The march also featured performances and the burning of the Islamic Republic's flag.
