Woman's entire body covered in tumours
Hosineara Begum, a widow living in Narayanganj district of Bangladesh, suffers from a severe condition where her body is covered in tumours, some as large as a tennis ball. Born with a pimple on her lip and small bumps on her face and neck, her condition worsened after a roadside doctor removed the pimple, leading to the spread of tumours all over her body. She has become a social outcast in her village, with people avoiding her and children being scared of her. Her husband, who loved her despite her condition, passed away in 1986, leaving her without support. Despite seeking medical help, no one has been able to diagnose or treat her condition effectively. She tried homeopathy, which provided slight relief, but could not continue due to financial constraints. Her son Saiful Islam has been unable to find a cure for her condition.
