Md Shahjalal, known as Shahjalal Boli, won the 114th edition of the Jabbarer Boli Khela, a traditional wrestling competition in Chattogram, Bangladesh. The event was organized by the Abdul Jabbar Smriti Kusti Pratijogita and the Baishakhi Mela Committee. Shahjalal Boli defeated the previous champion, Tarikul Islam Jibon, in a match that lasted one minute. The event, which started in 1909, also includes a three-day fair featuring various goods from across the country. The mayor of Chattogram City Corporation, Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, was the chief guest and presented the awards. The competition and fair are significant cultural events with historical roots in the anti-British movement.
