Sandra Farias is a journalist based in Toronto, Canada. She host a daily newscast at 1610 Am Radio Voces Latinas, the first ethnic Spanish station in Canada where she also coordinates media training. She has worked for Radio Canada International and is currently a regular contributor. She received an award with the Association for International Broadcasting for her documentary about Latin American children and youth immigrating to Canada after war and violence in their countries. She was a reporter for Canadian Press in Edmonton, Alberta. Sandra is bilingual in English and Spanish. She lives in Toronto since 2001.
