Nita Juggi, a young girl from India, suffered from seizures, headaches, and paralysis on her right side due to a giant tapeworm cyst in her brain. After two years of symptoms and unsuccessful doctor visits, she was diagnosed with neurocysticercosis at Sterling Hospital in Gujarat. Dr. Chirag Solanki performed a successful surgery to remove the cyst, which had grown to half the size of her brain and weighed over a pound. The cyst, a result of a tapeworm larvae infestation, could have been fatal if ruptured. Post-surgery, Nita has fully recovered and can play with friends again. Her father, Kishor Parbat Jogi, had to sell his wife's jewelry to afford the surgery. Dr. Solanki emphasized the importance of hygiene and anti-tapeworm medication for pets to prevent such infections.

An 11-month-old baby girl was kidnapped and raped while sleeping with her family in a tent at a construction site in Delhi, India. The child was treated at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital and is recovering. The family is now considering leaving the area, overwhelmed by the event and concerned for their daughter's long-term health.
