Festival: 23rd Cinematographic Days
The 23rd Cinematographic Days in Saint-Denis focused on 'satellite views,' exploring new cinematic horizons. Highlights included Patrick Wang's 'In the Family,' which delves into themes of loss and isolation, and Pierre-Édouard Dumora's 'Le Transformateur,' capturing the tragic events leading to the 2005 riots in Clichy-sous-Bois. The festival also spotlighted Winnipeg's experimental cinema, featuring Mike Maryniuk's 'The Goose,' which blends animation and psychedelic effects. The event showcased diverse geographical and social margins, offering a rich tapestry of cinematic experiences.

Minocycline-Induced Hyperpigmentation
A man in his 70s with advanced glaucoma presented with bluish-gray pigmentation on his face and eyes, attributed to an 8-year history of oral minocycline use for acne vulgaris. Histopathological examination confirmed basal keratinocyte hyperpigmentation and superficial dermal melanophages. Discontinuation of minocycline led to subsequent improvement in pigmentation.
