Gulu Institute of Health Sciences Donates to Gulu Task
The Director of Gulu Institute of Health Sciences and Gulu School of Nursing, Alfred Okwonga, donated one million shillings, 60 boxes of soap, and 560 liters of liquid soap to the Gulu district COVID-19 task force. The donation aims to support ambulance fuel and hygiene efforts in health facilities and markets. Task force coordinator Martin Ojara Mapenduzi highlighted the lack of central government support and called for public assistance. Uganda has confirmed 53 COVID-19 cases.
