Nikahang Kowsar is a journalist and analyst on water and geology issues. He has worked for Manoto TV and Iran International TV as an analyst and produced over 300 shows on water issues for Andisheh TV, YourTime TV, Iran-e Farda TV, and Channel One(Persian). Kowsar was a producer for Netherland Based Radio Zamaneh from 2006 to 2010. He served as an editor for Market Wire in Toronto, Canada from 2005 to 2008. Before moving to North America, Nikahang worked as an Opinion writer, cartoonist, and editor in Iran from 1991 to 2003. Kowsar has won several national and international awards and was a member of the New York Times Cartoon Syndicate before it shut down in 2019.
