The Nonprofit Council, led by CEO Scott McAninch, has invested over $200,000 in media and marketing. By midday, donations were averaging $200,000 an hour. HIS BridgeBuilders, an education nonprofit coordinated by Sandra Fechner, is hopeful to receive $35,000 in donations to support their services, including homework help, free computer access, and distribution of food and clothes.
