Cote d'Ivoire: Factchecking and fighting fake news

Two workshops were conducted for media partners RTI and Albayane in Cote d'Ivoire to enhance their capabilities in fact-checking and combating disinformation and fake news. Journalists were trained on ethical practices, standards, and specific tools to detect and counteract misleading information. The trainees plan to apply their new skills to increase public awareness of disinformation issues in Cote d'Ivoire.
