About Jolyon
Jolyon Webber is a journalist based in London, United Kingdom.

As an experienced writer, editor and producer I have developed multimedia skills relevant to both online and print publications. Specialising in cultural and lifestyle editorial, I have a strong understanding of current global trends and a large network of relevant contacts. The last position I held was that of Editorial Coordinator at Hunger for both the printed biannual magazine and the website.

Prior to this I was as Head of Editorial Content for Crane.tv - a platform that covered contemporary culture in the arts, design, food, fashion and travel - specialising primarily in video, written and photographic stories from London and around the world. I was responsible for setting the overall editorial agenda and commissioning, whilst managing a small team of journalist, producers and in-house video editors and contributors from Brazil, China and the United States. As well as this I controlled budgets for all editorial projects and was responsible for increasing online traffic and implementing social media strategy.

I am currently a contributing editor for Port magazine, a men’s lifestyle and cultural biannual, where I was section editor and writer for two years for the front of book. In this role I was responsible for overseeing editorial and branded content, commissioning writers, photographers and illustrators while working closely alongside creative director and designer during layout. Alongside this I am also a contributing editor and writer for Avaunt magazine, an adventuring, scientific and cultural biannual.

I was also Features Editor for Seventh Man magazine, a men’s fashion title where I was responsible for writing, commissioning and editing all non-fashion related features and interviews with actors, artists and musicians. I have also written branded content copy for i-D magazine in projects for Nike and G-Star.
