German court orders end to coronavirus lockdown around meat plant
A German court has ruled to end the local lockdown in Gütersloh district, North Rhine-Westphalia, imposed due to a coronavirus outbreak at a Tönnies meatpacking plant. The court deemed the lockdown disproportionate and unfair to areas with fewer cases. The decision may lead to further legal challenges against future lockdowns.
