I’m Ishtiak Hossain —a part-time professor, PhD researcher in Mass Communication, and independent freelance travel photographer. With roots in Computer Science and a Master’s in Media, I’ve always blended logic with creativity in my work. Over the past year, I’ve traveled through the UAE, Malaysia and India capturing more than 35,000 photographs that reflect the incredible beauty of nature and the richness of diverse cultures. Photography is how I connect with people and tell stories that matter. My work has appeared in global platforms like CNN-Turkey, Daily Mail UK, WHO, Emirates, and Reader’s Digest. I’m always open to working with filmmakers and journalists on meaningful documentary projects —especially those focused on women’s and children’s rights, or unique storytelling formats like doc-fusion—provided they respect our laws and cultural values.
