Sudanese medical students from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Khartoum, whose campus was turned into a military barracks, have been relocated to the University of Rwanda with the support of the Rwandan government. Dr. Suzan Homeida, a university deputy chairperson, expressed gratitude for Rwanda's receptiveness to the idea. The students, including Yaseen Khalfalla and Azan Abdel Rahman Giammaa, are determined to complete their education and contribute to rebuilding Sudan's healthcare system post-conflict. The 160 students will spend eight months in Rwanda, completing their fourth year and final year of medical studies with practical hospital experience.
