Satellites are integral to space technologies like communication, navigation, and weather prediction, and a strong policy is necessary to protect them from potential threats. The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) advocates for a comprehensive framework that includes international collaboration, responsible conduct guidelines, data sharing, transparency, a legal structure, capacity building, sustainability, and multilateral engagement. The US Space Force (USSF), established in 2019, plays a significant role in Space Security Policies, focusing on protecting US and allied interests in space while ensuring freedom of operation. The USSF oversees the development and acquisition of new technologies through its Space Systems Command, including advanced satellite systems and launch capabilities.

Over the past five decades, numerous Jewish rappers have significantly influenced hip-hop culture, including Drake, Doja Cat, Mac Miller, and Nissim Black. In the early 2000s, religiously-observant artists like Y-Love and Matisyahu created a niche for rap infused with Jewish wisdom and spirituality. Today, there are several rappers who make Judaism a prominent part of their stage personas, such as Kosha Dillz, Lil Dicky, and BLP Kosher. The biggest contributions that Jews have made collectively to hip-hop may have been on the business side, as managers and record label executives. In Charnas' 2010 book "The Big Payback: The History of the Business of Hip-Hop," he shares the stories of record label executives who commercialized hip-hop, including several Jewish ones.
