Eric Murinzi is a journalist based in Kigali, Rwanda. Eric Murinzi is a genocide survivor of the 1994 against Tutsi in Rwanda. Growing up his passion was to become a pilot but all changed when he lost his mother in 2009. Started doing photography out of a hobby and therapy. After graduating from high school He started working at AEGIS TRUST as an audio visual officer where he worked on national art tour and various other projects. He was part of the team that designed and organized the Ubuntu international youth conference that was held in Kigali on June 2016. After his time at AEGIS he decided to pursuit his a career as a freelancer where He started working with different organization local and international such as, CARE INTERNATIONAL, ACCESS TO FINANCE RWANDA, LAWYERS OF HOPE, DIGITEC STUDIOS, WORLD VISION, RDF, UNICEF, GLOBAL AFRICA PRESS, VOICE OF AMERICA and he was the official personal photographer of Jack Ma and Alibaba when he came to Rwanda and Kenya. In the past few years Eric Murinzi spent most of his time traveling in the west Africa where he was a producer at Global Africa Press directing and producing TV content for VOA especially for their famous show "VOUS ET NOUS". His work has been aired on the voice of America(VOA),published on Alibaba's website, UNICEF, RBA, AFR,...etc. Eric Murinzi is currently a TV show producer at Global Africa Press and content developer of VOA and He is also a freelancer photographer.
