I am a starting journalist who graduated last year. I studied Journalism at Artevelde University College in Ghent, Belgium and studied Broadcasting-Radio at Fanshawe College in London, ON, Canada for one semester as an exchange student. During my time in Ghent, I volunteered at the student radio station Urgent.fm where I learned to make live radio. I started as researcher and part of the editorial team and moved my way up to co-host and host. I also learned a lot about making radio during my time at Fanshawe. I have experience in social media management. I did my internship at kleinVerhaal, a social artistic organisation in Ostend, Belgium where I created content (photos, videos, audio) to post on their social media (Facebook, Instagram). Before doing my internship there, I volunteered with their project Radio Onderstroom where, with a little group of people, we made a podcast and live radio show. I have two podcasts myself that I make, Belgic Music and Six To See, and I also have several blogs (Belgic Music, Dreamelyne). If you want to know even more, you can visit my portfolio on ******

The John Wick franchise, created by Derek Kolstad and directed by Chad Stahelski, follows the legendary assassin John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, who is drawn back into the criminal underworld. Despite some inaccuracies in the use of 'Baba Yaga,' the nickname contributes to the franchise's unique lore and success. The franchise has grossed over $1 billion globally, with more films and spin-offs planned.

The first trailer of the Disney classic 'Frozen' was completely misleading
The article discusses the misleading nature of the first trailer for Disney's 'Frozen', which focused on comedic characters Olaf and Sven, rather than the main storyline involving sisters Elsa and Anna. The film is praised for its music and compared to Disney Renaissance classics. Both 'Frozen' and its sequel are available on Disney+.
The very first time Godzilla and Kong shared the screen was over 60 years ago
Over 60 years ago, Godzilla and Kong first appeared together on screen in the film 'King Kong vs. Godzilla' (1962), produced by the Japanese company Toho and directed by Ishirõ Honda. The concept originated from Willis O'Brien, who envisioned King Kong fighting a giant Frankenstein's monster, but due to high costs, Toho replaced the monster with Godzilla. The film, which used suitmotion instead of stop-motion, became Japan's biggest Godzilla film and a lasting hit. Recently, the monsters were seen together again in 'Godzilla vs. Kong' (2021), and the upcoming 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' will feature them working together. 'King Kong vs. Godzilla' is available on archive.org and for purchase on DVD and Blu-ray.

Completely forgotten science fiction series that deserves a new chance: 'Flashforward'
The science fiction series 'Flashforward,' created by Brannon Braga and David S. Goyer and based on Robert J. Sawyer's 1999 book, was canceled after one season despite its intriguing storyline. The series, which aired on ABC in the U.S. and Veronica in the Netherlands, follows a team of FBI agents investigating a global blackout that gives everyone a vision of their future. The cancellation was attributed to its placement in a family-friendly time slot, leading to low viewership. Fans believe the series deserves another chance, especially given its unresolved plot points. All episodes are available on Disney+.
The true story behind Pixar's 'Up' is just as heartbreaking as the film
The article reveals that Pixar's 'Up' is inspired by the true story of Edith Macefield, who refused to sell her house to developers, much like the film's protagonist Carl Fredricksen. Macefield's home, Whitewood Cottage in Seattle, became a symbol of resistance and community spirit. Despite offers of up to a million dollars, Macefield chose to stay in her home until her death in 2008, after which she left it to Barry Martin, a construction supervisor who cared for her. The house remains a cherished part of the community, with plans to integrate it into a surrounding shopping center.
