Hi there! I'm Eduardo Vicente León Petersen, a Venezuelan filmmaker with over 10 years of experience. As a freelance director, I've worked on commercials, documentaries, fiction films, music videos, and social media content for major networks. Graduating from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Mass Media Communications and Audiovisual Arts in 2014, I've held various roles, including camera work, drone cinematography, post-production, and VFX. Notable clients include Ron Santa Teresa, Nestlé, BBC News, and CNN. I directed "Voces que dejó la lluvia" (2019) and "Watunna: El viaje de Civrieux" (2022). Watunna: The Journey of Civrieux is a documentary film that I directed, filmed, and edited, exploring the life and work of Jean-Marc De Civrieux. The film takes viewers on a journey through the rich history and culture of the indigenous peoples of Venezuela, highlighting the importance of preserving their traditions and knowledge for future generations.
A news report of the current situation of the most vulnerable population in Caracas, Venezuela: mothers and their children. My personal participation in this proyect was the aerial footage of the slums of Caracas.
I was responsible of directing and producing this documentary for Euronews, making camera, drone and DoP as well
