About Daniel
Daniel Ceng is an award-winning Asian photojournalist, fixer and translator covering politics, social issues, spot news, war and more across the world, including Europe, the Middle-East, East Asia and Southeast Asia.

His clients include wire news agencies, government entities and newspapers, including The European Pressphoto Agency, The European Commission, The Guardian, AFP, The Associated Press, ZUMA Press, The Sydney Morning Herald, and The Initium, with experiences in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Turkey, Ukraine, India, and The Philippines.

In particular, after the Russian invasion of Ukraine unfolded in February 2022, Daniel in his 22 took the initiative to enter the war-torn country in the first week of March.

In the six months stay in Ukraine, he traveled to different war-torn cities, towns, villages as well as front lines in Donbass, reporting on the aftermath of Moscow's brutal invasion and its prolonged impacts on the most vulnerable groups.
