Zacc investigates Mbare school
George Stark High School in Mbare, Harare, is under investigation by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) following allegations of corruption dating back to 2016. The allegations include staff members receiving excessive fuel allocations and questionable travel allowances. One staff member allegedly claimed $3,000 for an unrelated trip to Swaziland. Zacc spokesperson John Makamure confirmed the investigation. The school head, Tafara Zhou, has not responded to the allegations.
