Cambodia – for centuries its prosperity has been linked to its ability to grow some of the finest rice in the world along with careful management of its unique water resources. At the country’s heart is the magnificent Lake Tonle Sap which supplies much of the country’s irrigation needs. But, Cambodia like much of Southeast Asia, faces increasing challenges to its people’s livelihoods and long-term prosperity as climate change impacts unleash devastating floods and prolonged periods of drought in almost equal measure.
