I am a radio journalist based in Dakar, Senegal. After a career as a PR officer with various humanitarian organizations (most notably in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in Jordan), I switched to radio journalism in 2018. I graduated from my journalism school in Grenoble, France in 2020. That same year, I was also the recipient of Radio France Internationale's bourse Charles-Lescaut. This prestigious award gave me the opportunity to work as a newsreader for RFI for a year. I settled in Dakar in October 2021, working there as a correspondant for various radio stations (RTSuisse, RTBF, Radio Vatican, BBC Afrique, VOA).
