I’m a creative and versatile multi-platform business, technology, politics and consumer journalist, copywriter, editor and content strategist. I specialise in creating simplified, engaging explanations of complicated technologies, finances, policies and processes for a variety of audiences and channels. I have 20+ years’ experience working for national and international newspapers, magazines, B2B and B2C titles, websites and the corporate world. I also devise and run successful social media campaigns, produce newsletters with a high open-rate, and write well-received speeches and successful award submissions.
I’m an expert at overseeing, researching and planning multiple projects; budgeting; managing workflows, teams and stakeholders; identifying news; concise commissioning; fact-checking; editing copy to style; and, creating accurate, entertaining and shareable content. I enjoy the challenge of getting content to fit diverse audiences to create great UX and UI. Using A/B testing, keyword research and data analytics, I optimise content for SEO to move audiences along the marketing funnel.
