About Amadu
Amadu Sajoh Bah is a journalist based in London, United Kingdom, his language experience goes back to the late 1980s when he served as Arabic teacher for Level 5 in Sierra Leone. 

Regarding Fulfulde (Fula), since 1993 he has been busy with teaching, writing and training teachers in different countries: Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Netherlands, Belgium, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and currently the United Kingdom. 

Since 2007 he has developed several Fulfulde teaching materials for different community organizations and help set up language classes for different levels ranging from level 1 to level 5: he has trained more than 100 people for different levels to teach Fulfulde, he has also worked as Fulfulde interpreter, examiner and translator for several years. 

2008 to 2018, he worked as Chief Editor and Founder for Peeral Media (www.peeral.com). Peeral was an online magazine published in Fulfulde to promote the use of the language in cyberspace, his responsibility included writing, editing, and online publishing using Joomla; a free and open-source content management system. More than 250 articles were published on Peeral.com during this period (on politics, economics, education, science and technology etc.). 

The website was hacked in 2018 but all the works are still well-preserved. 

Sajoh (as he is called) has MA in Languages and Cultures of Africa from Leiden University, Netherlands, and BA in Political and Administrative Sciences from Lebanese University in Beirut.

In 2023 I edited Waaweede: a novel I was tasked to edit for a wider Fulfulde speaking population as the language is spoken in more than 19 countries in a large geographical area stretching from West to East Africa.

In 2017 I translated into Fulfulde the English brochure: Guide for unaccompanied minors who apply for asylum in Belgium, for Commissariat général aux réfugiés et aux apatrides (https://www.cgra.be/fr)...

In September 2021 I translated the RFI bilingual series of 25 episodes. LE TALISMAN BRISÉ: The podcast in French-Fulfulde is a bilingual audio drama for your first steps in French.
