Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is a potentially fatal acute illness mediated by superantigenic toxins. It is caused by an infection from Staphylococcus aureus in staphylococcal TSS or Streptococcus pyogenes in streptococcal TSS. Symptoms include sudden onset, high fever, hypotension, tachycardia, diffuse macular erythroderma, and involvement of at least two other organ systems, notably renal function. Diagnosis is based on clinical presentation and microorganism isolation via blood culture or infected area culture. Initial treatment involves life support measures, prevention of multi-organ failure, and broad-spectrum empirical antibiotic therapy, recommended to combine β-lactams (penicillin, preferred) with clindamycin.

The main objective of this research was to determine the factors related to the physical self-concept and body satisfaction of adolescents in relation to school Physical Education through a systematic review. The study followed PRISMA guidelines and included eight articles, identifying four key factors: satisfaction of basic psychological needs, promotion of emotional security, encouragement of extracurricular physical exercise, and avoidance of appearance comparisons. These factors can serve as tools for Physical Education teachers to enhance basic needs satisfaction, motivation for extracurricular physical exercise, emotional security, and avoidance of appearance comparisons.

Continuous reassessment of GCS and pupil status is crucial due to potential deterioration in consciousness. The most severe complication is brain herniation syndrome, requiring early detection and treatment of increased intracranial pressure.
