Ahmed Hamed is a journalist based in Cairo Governorate, Egypt. I work in fields of photography,film making, Journalism and media training I believe that art and cultural initiatives can make huge positive shifts to communities as well I believe in the power of photography and how an image can make change, After my graduation from mass media faculty journalism department in the year 2008 I worked in 3 fields simultaneously , mass media and journalism, cultural project management and Human Rights. as I got experience in the field of film making through getting a grant from Egyptian film center to fund my first short documentary film the smell of the country : ****** and participated as a facilitator in the human rights educational program at Cairo institute for human rights since 2010 and worked as well as researcher on "Media and the parliamentary elections in Egypt 2010" research project since August 2012 I am working as a multimedia officer at Aswat Masriya News website responsible for making multimedia content connected to Egyptian political, social and cultural daily affairs and to moderate and train team of interns and stringers working with the website ****** ******
