Jaime Florez

Jaime Florez has been since 2021 the Hispanic Outreach and Communications Director for the Republican National Committee (RNC) and acted as Hispanic Communications Director and Spanish Spokesperson for the Trump-Vance Presidential Campaign. He worked for Senator Rick Scott as Hispanic Communications Director in his campaigns for reelection as Governor of Florida and for the U.S. Senate. He was the Publisher of Sobre Ruedas, the magazine in Spanish with the largest circulation in the world and served as Anchor and News Director at Actualidad 1020, Radio Caracol and WQBA 1140 AM, the three most popular Hispanic news radio stations in South Florida. 
 
Jaime has worked in print and broadcast media for decades, holding many different positions in both Colombia and the United States. He has written hundreds of articles, columns and commentaries for newspapers, magazines and websites. Frequently appears as a contributor in high audience TV shows, and his highly appreciated comments can go from Latin American and U.S. politics to cars and the automotive industry. 
 
Jaime’s work has garnered him several awards, among them “Premio Nacional de Periodismo Simón Bolívar” (The Simon Bolivar National Award for Journalism), the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a journalist in Colombia.
