Ion-Oroles Manolache

My name is Ion-Oroles Manolache, I live in Bucharest, Romania and I work as a journalist and photojournalist for Cotidianul.ro, a national newspaper. I specialize in press photoreports. Below you can find photoreports made by me, on Cotidianul.ro. You can see more on my website.

My story: I discovered photojournalism at the Faculty of Journalism of the University of Bucharest. I then went to the School of Art, where I learned, through the lens of photography, to look at the world differently. My first experience as a photojournalist was during my time at the faculty, at the Evenimentul Zilei newspaper. Photography accompanied me on my travels, in documenting for the press, at events and in personal projects. Sources of inspiration: literature, the creations of great names in photography and painting, the projects I am involved in, people and their stories.
