I am a Dublin-based photographer interested in exploring humanity's impact on the world and itself. My approach blends traditional documentary / photojournalism and observational street photography with a fine-art sensibility, drawing inspiration from photographers such as Ernst Haas, Josef Koudelka, Gilles Peress, and Paolo Pellegrin. My curiosity about the world and passion for the craft have driven me to cover significant events both locally and internationally. These include documenting ongoing protests in support of Palestine, the annual Orange Order marches in Belfast, and the instability in post- and current conflict zones across Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. I also lived in São Paulo, Brazil, for four years, where I honed my skills and gained confidence photographing in the bustling streets.
