Genevieve is an independent award-winning journalist, editor, author, photographer and coach based in Olympia, Washington. She has over 20 years of experience living and working in New York City, Israel, the West Bank, Jerusalem, Central and South America, Japan, and throughout the U.S. She was a Senior Forests Editor at international environmental and science news website, Mongabay, and a Service Editor at U.S.-based legacy media McClatchy news. She is currently an independent media coach and editor for global clients, including the National Trust for Local News and the Solutions Journalism Network. Genevieve is the author of 5 travel guide books for Hachette / Moon Handbooks about Jerusalem, the West Bank, Israel and Jordan published between 2014 and 2023. She is currently writing a novel series based on her life and adventures as a globe-trotting journalist.
