Emerald Su

Emerald Su is a journalist based in Yangon, Burma. I work as the freelance video journalist, fixer and stringer. As the experiences I worked together with international media organizations - Thai PBS Channel,CNN,HBO(ViceNews), Channel News Asia, Viory and AIArabiya News and CGTN. 

For Thai PBS Channel I worked as fixer for 2015 Myanmar Elections Program with Producer Nattha Komolavidin from ThaiPBS.It took one week and attended Daw Aung San Suu Kyi press at her house,interview to voters, Party representatives,CSOs, political analysis,Journalist,etc.

For CNN I worked together with CNN producer Katie Hunt for Rakhine Issue. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi made an international and national press about Rakine Issue. CNN team came to Myanmar and meet with Buddhist monks, Muslim society, Myanmar citizens.


For HBO (Vice News) I worked together with Executive Producer Sean Stephens from New York and Southeast Asia Producer Laurel Chor from HongKong. Their interest was about Rohingya Repatriation project for
their documentary.

For Channel News Asia ,I worked as fixer one month for 45 minuteslong Get Real Program with Producer Kaylee Soah.At that program was present about Myanmar Child Labors.Forthatprogram before shooting I made a lot of research and finding contacts of child labors, Labor Ministry,Social Welfare Ministry, CSOs, etc.

I worked with Viory, AIArabiya News and CGTN as the video journalist.
