Bubacarr Batchilly is a Broadcast Television Journalist documentary filmmaker, Fixer, Cameraman, Producer and Director based in Banjul, Gambia. **** **** **** Most of my work for the last few years was under my company Sahel Entertainment Studios in The Gambia, as a trainer in production, producer, director, cameraman, editing in wide genres. The Sunu Dem Kanam show takes a more pragmatic approach to tackling Gambia’s economic struggles, one that goes beyond the rhetoric on social media to actually getting first-hand experience of those on the farmyards, schools and the streets, that are working their backs off to contribute to the growth of the Gambian economy.

A short documentary of one The Gambian hotels faced with many challenges in rebuilding our economy and sustaining its employees. In The Gambia most hotels are unable to keep full employment throughout the year that leaves employees to seek side jobs for six months or face poverty.
Jammeh to Justice: a docufilm about a sole Ghanian survivor after 56 immigrants were arrested and murder by former dictator president Yaya Jammeh who's now in exit. The story unfolds as sole survivor tells his story from the time they were arrested until his escape to freedom.
