Following a catastrophic failure of seasonal rains, an entire district was facing the imminent threat of famine—a crisis that was going largely unnoticed. I led the on-the-ground investigation, traveling to the affected area to document the dire situation and capture the urgent pleas of the community.
By bringing this hidden crisis to public and media attention, our report played a crucial role in mobilizing a response that helped save countless lives. This is one of the most meaningful and impactful projects of my career, demonstrating how journalism can serve as a vital lifeline for communities in need.

This documentary tackles a deeply sensitive and overlooked consequence of the Tigray war: the profound crisis facing persons with disabilities. Commissioned by UKAID, my role was to create a powerful film that would raise awareness and advocate for the rights of this marginalized community.The project required navigating sensitive ethical considerations to tell the stories of individuals with dignity and respect. I conducted in-depth interviews with survivors and human rights advocates to build a compelling narrative that highlights systemic failures in access to healthcare,education,and social inclusion. The final film serves not just as a report, but as a powerful advocacy tool,humanizing a complex issue for both local and international audience
Project Title: Reportage The Human Cost of Illegal Gold Mining

This Reportage gives a voice to a community devastated by the environmental and economic fallout of illegal gold mining. My role was to travel to the remote Adi Asgedom village and build the deep trust necessary to capture the raw, firsthand testimonies of families facing the loss of their livestock and livelihoods due to polluted water sources.
The film is a powerful example of community-centered, human-interest reporting. It transforms personal stories of suffering into a compelling narrative that exposes a critical, underreported crisis, demonstrating my ability to connect with vulnerable sources and bring their reality to a wider audience.
