About Abdulwajed
I have been working as an independent journalist in Syria since 2015 to the present day. I have documented a lot of events during these years in the humanitarian, civil, military and cultural fields of many local press and media institutions and some international institutions. I have also worked within the teams of making documentaries for Al Jazeera channels, Alaraby TV and Syria TV. I am brilliant in using various cameras and distributing lighting. I am also keen to capture events from distinctive angles to get wonderful and strong photos and shots.

I was produced This documentary to participate in the Al Jazeera Documentary Short Film Competition. In it, I talk about the beginning of my career in the world of journalism and media until I was injured on one of the hills of the city of Binnish after being directly targeted by an anti-tank missile by the Assad regime forces.
