Aaron Kamanga

Aaron Kamanga is a seasoned Zambian broadcast journalist and Jazz Broadcaster, Media Consultant with a distinguished career spanning over fifteen years. Since 2009, he has hosted and produced the renowned Jazz Cafe show on ZNBC Radio 2, establishing himself as a trusted voice in Zambian media and cultivating a loyal listenership across the nation. 

He has built a strong reputation for producing in-depth radio and captivating television documentaries that explore critical social issues. His work has particularly focused on Zambian traditional ceremonies, holistic agriculture, and conservation, showcasing Zambia's rich cultural heritage while highlighting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. 
He has also produced extensive content on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and the impact of climate change on agriculture. 

His storytelling effectively bridges the gap between complex policy, development initiatives, and the public, fostering greater awareness and understanding among diverse audiences. His professional journey showcases a progression from creative production to strategic leadership. He served as a Television Producer for the Zambia News & Information Services (ZANIS) for over a decade, where he was responsible for scripting, producing, and editing television documentaries aired on the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC). 

In this role, he frequently interacted with government officials, traditional leaders, and international organisations, honing his ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments and translate technical information into accessible content. His expertise led him to a leadership position as delegation leader for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Integrated Reproductive Health Communications Team, where he coordinated media coverage across multiple provinces.
